that was started by a "fired FBI" agent (Stryzok) and based on a fraudulent Clinton paid for document (Steele memos) and pushed by now discredited other FBI and DOJ "deep state" agents (Comey, etc).

This is the GOP story line all set to go.

2. He'd still be guilty. A pardon doesn't magically confer innocence.

And the had what 5 immunity given witnesses. 8t was probably pretty clear cut but he could also be expecting a pardon .

9. Let's just hope they find him guilty. It might end up in mistrial. But no, Repubs CAN'T do anything

Repubs CAN'T do anything about Trump pardoning Manafort. He has that executive privilege. Congress can do nothing about it.

Will they give it lip service? I doubt it.

We already know Trump will pardon him. That's the only logical reason that Manafort wouldn't cut a deal. Everyone expects it.
