Oceans from 60 to 200 feet higher. In not all that distant of future = worst case scenario = possible.

I think the biggest hurdle facing us is that for some reason (right-wing lobbyists) the whole climate issue has become politicized and it seems all logic is gone. There are still people that deny global warming is real, others that claim it is simply a natural phenomenon and nothing we can do, and still others that say it has something to do with their GOD or something? We were given plenty of warning but have done little or nothing so far and I seriously doubt that will change. Humans are not really that smart - not nearly as smart as we would like to think.
