Lindsey Graham is crying & I'm not buying it.

Lindsey Graham on John McCain: "He failed a lot, but he never quit. And the reason we're talking about him today and the reason I'm crying is because he was successful in spite of his failures." (via CSPAN)

I listened to Graham’s eulogy on the Senate floor.
The words,touching,unfortunately they’re empty,
maybe Graham acted on them in the past, but no
longer.
His dearest friend was horribly disrespected by
Trump and Graham made excuses,he’s a member
of “Bastardized GOP/Trump Party”.

3. How hard it is to tell your base "I think you're wrong"

Well, Lindsay hasn't been doing any of that. He's too busy pandering to his SC base by kissing Trump's butt.

alive today?!?”

“I don’t know, but IT SURE AS HELL AIN’T LINDSAY GRAHAM
I’ve seen not ONE tweet defending Graham in the last few days (and I see he’s now trending nationally at #8) -

Tweets from everywhere (including his own account):

.....Mr. Graham, You have dishonored everything that John McCain represented. He should have asked that you not pay any tribute to him. Your words are insincere and hollow because of your newfound support for the corrupt Traitor-in-Chief.

......I agree. “Mr. Graham” is nothing but a coward

.....You disgrace him by protecting a racist fascist authoritarian sitting in the White House

.....It’s hard to believe you remained friends after you decided to support and enable the criminal president who belittled his service and went against everything he stood for.

......Senator, I’m sure your words will be kind and compassionate. However, Senator I’m asking you to step out of the shadow of your friend and mentor and step into his shoes. This country needs John McCain and it needs YOU, to be better men, or at least try to be.

......Your actions today dishonor the man. Your words mean little as a result.

......I watched your interview on the @TODAYshow and despite great questioning and many opportunities to speak up, you flipped. @SenJohnMcCain would have stood strong in your defense to this president had the shoe been on the other foot.

.....Just watched your interview on the @TODAYshow and how you didn’t have the balls to defend your so called “friend”. You’re disgusting and pathetic and McCain is rolling in his grave right now you spineless prick.

.....The best honor you could do for his legacy is to actually stand up to the madman in the White House and remember what it was like when the Senate still worked across the aisle vs conspiracy theories and deep state nonsense.

.....You disappointed us so much on Today. Couldn't take your "friend's" side even at the end. Wow. McCain would've never done the bidding of the Russians. No matter what kompromat they had on him.

.....Screw Vichy Lindsey. He’s sold his soul to Trump. The last few days he’s revealed who he really is. He’s a lying Trump fluffer. He’s more dangerous than some of the others because he sounds sane and rational.

....."I learned how hard it is to tell your base, 'I think you're wrong.' I learned how hard it is to solve problems nobody else wants to talk about."

Is he even aware of what he's saying?? The cognitive dissonance here is off the charts. I'm truly speechless.

.....We could spend days reading how heartbreaking it must have been for John McCain to witness the betrayal & fall of Lindsey (link: http://Graham.You) Graham. You sold out to a TRAITOR over your “FRIEND “. Time will not soften that fact. You have dishonored McCain & yourself. I hope it haunts you.

.....Best friends? You mean like all the friends 45 claims to have? We're you with him when he passed? Did you say one word to 45 about his disgusting attacks on your "best friend"? Something happened to you and it's not good.

.....What happened to you? Honor your friend by standing up to Trump regardless of what he may have on you.

.....Will you be begging Ukraine for money while you're recovering/absorbing?

He’s a man without a country now, for real
Unless one counts “trumplandia/putinville”
Damn, bro, you messed up
Oh well
