I gave up on Tweety years ago and now limit myself to no more than 10 minutes of The Breathless 24/7 Breaking News (sandwiched in between ads for drugs we never knew we needed) Cable Infotainment per day.

Simply not the cable Infotainment pseudo news channels that I find are simply on to fill airtime between advertisers. I can easily stay up to date without any of them by reading the news while on the exercise bike in the morning. I much prefer NPR, BBC, PBS, Al Jazzera and The NY Times.

Have you ever given consideration to the amount of advertisements vs “content”?

back when he helped get Phil Donahue fired. Phil was anti Iraq war and Tweety was for it.
IMO it's a toss up who is the dumbest cable news anchor; Wolf, Anderson, or Tweety. According to results on Jeopardy Wolf was dumber than Tweety.

10. Not sure that Jeapardy is an accurate measure but your point is well taken.

They are simply all talking heads chasing the latest bright shiny object. Remember how long CNN beat the lost Maylasian airliner to death? If there is no story, they manufacture something to fill the air between advertisers.
