General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI just saw video with the Parkland dad
and Kavenaugh- there was no security intervention. The WH is lying.
It was on Local 10 in Florida...they are calling it a Supreme Court snub. He looked at Mr. Guttenberg with utter contempt and walked off. Lots of cameras caught this. Video and photos are everywhere.
What an awful man.

(81,523 posts)He ALSO had enough time to ask the security person to pause for a moment so he could at least reach out a hand and be polite. Fred Guttenberg was trying to talk to him at the time. Presumably trying to introduce himself and his reason for being there. Kavanaugh stood there, staring straight at him, for enough of a moment that he could have just been briefly polite, with "nice to meet you. They're telling me I gotta go, sorry..." Talk about elitist.

(5,624 posts)So, K should have known who he was. Mr Guttenberg was polite, saying excuse me twice before K turned to him. The look on K's face reflected contempt, IMO.
Good post.
