This is bad of me I know... but I am really "praying" that these Senators suffer

some sort of health issue - catastrophic health issue. Incapacitating... so much so that they have to resign the Senate.

Scandal of some sort would be possibly OK... so long as they face imminent arrest.

Corey Gardner - CO - age 44
Richard Burr - NC - age 62
Thom Tillis - NC - age 58
Pat Toomey - PA - age 56

Slim chance of a health issue... so it should be scandal so severe that they can't even post bail.


They are all R Senators from states with D governors. Of course, the rule in these 3 states has to be that the governor gets to pick whoever they want to replace the Senator, which I haven't researched.

But the Repukes just picked up Kyl to replace McCain... so that now means we need 2 Senators plus all the Democrats and Independents to vote against Kavanaugh.

But this is our only hope to stop the SCOTUS nomination.
