Will republicans dump trump if they get Kavanaugh on the Court ?

They certainly know their hold on power will be over for a while, but will have achieved their goals.

They do not fear losing the House, because it is doubtful they lose the Senate. If they can install Pence and blame the demise of Trump on Democrats, they will maintain much of that base. If they depose Trump somehow they will lose all three branches in 2020..
