As we all know, Fox News was originally created as a propaganda machine to boost Republican political policies. That was bad enough, but when it became apparent that Republicans HAVE no policies, other than giving tax cuts to plutocrats, Fox changed their tactics. For the last 20 years the purpose of Fox has been to develop an intense, visceral hatred of so-called liberals by anybody who self identifies as a 'conservative.' Policies and ideology have nothing to do with anything. You belong to the 'conservative' tribe, and the 'liberal' tribe is responsible for all evil in the world.
If a convict murdered somebody while out on day parole, check to see if the Governor of that state is a Democrat or a Republican. If it's a Democrat report it. Talk about it for days. If the murderer was black, even better! If the Governor is a Republican, forget about it.
Ditto for disaster relief. If New Jersey is flooded, they're all a bunch of bums looking for government handouts. But if Dallas gets flooded...
Ditto for gun violence. Concentrate on gun violence in Chicago (blue state) and ignore it in New Orleans (red state). If somebody calls you on that bullshit, you can always fall back on the fact that New Orleans is a predominantly black city.
So, after 20 years of Fox painting the 'liberal tribe' as the root of all evil, now apparently a rat problem in SeaTac Airport is the fault of LIBERALS.
Check out the Fox comments on the story. On the Fox news website, apparently NOTHING can be politically neutral. It's amazing.

That said, rats are rats and are well suited to human structures. Its a battle thats got to be fought.

(27,805 posts)They really, really need to slow the pace of building. At this point, I am being purposely short-sighted about the future. I'm starting to not care about ten years down the line, because I have to get through the now of this, and it's been bad for years. Now they're going after my bus, which is a tunnel bus, knocking down the Convention Place stop which I think has sent out tons of rats.
