Pence 'Disappointed' Obama Broke Tradition

Last edited Sun Sep 9, 2018, 12:52 AM - Edit history (1)

Vice President Pence told Fox News that it was “very disappointing” to see former President Obama return to the campaign trail and “become so political.”

Said Pence: “It was very disappointing to see President Obama break with the tradition of former presidents, and become so political and roll out the same tired argument that he and liberals have made over the last eight years.”

Mr. Birther Donald Trump has no respect whatsoever for any of those things. And he has had zero respect for his predecessor. The occupant of the White House should be the one to set the example. If it is a good one then others will follow. If not, the truth will surely surface, as it is now.

The republicans don't uphold any norms or courtesies, so they shouldn't expect to benefit from any.

Hopefully this sort of thing will continue and piss ass will just have to get used to being disappointed.

or constantly bringing up their predecessors on twitter every day isnt exactly tradition, either.

Pence wants it so Trump can constantly smear Clinton and Obama, but then needs smelling salts when they hit back even slightly.

Trump broke tradition 12 years ago doubting the birthplace of Obama. None of the other retired Presidents ever had to deal with a mental case like DT.

I am disappointed that a two-bit radio right wing talk show host and failed governor of Indiana finds it normal that a sitting president gets his information from a hate channel and his policies from a TV hate monger, and that he refers to a former US Senator, Secretary of State, and winner by landslide of the popular vote in the last election as "crooked."

Right wing sleaze may or may not be deemed to be "tired" old tactics, but they are as predictable as they are devoid of truth.

My money is on NO, NOT EVER.

He's a parrot of the sorriest kind but also dangerous if given power. He'll strip rights and protections from anyone who is not rich, white, male and "born again". And he'll do it convinced he's been chosen by God to do it.
