As far as I am concerned, Senator Durbin's recent tweets, which included verbatim quotes of Kavanaugh's sworn testimony and his directly contradictory emails from 2002 and 2003, nails him to the wall. It is a simple question: should we knowingly permit judges who have lied under oath to get their job KEEP their job?
I will not abide hearing that his impeachment is "off the table". I will not "look forward" if doing so means accepting this moral pygmy as a federal judge of any stripe. I also urge those with proper standing to pursue an ethics complaint with the appropriate bar associations with a view towards a suspension of his right to practice law.
Yes, you could say that Brett Kavanaugh pisses me off.

(6,009 posts)1) A unanimous vote to impeach kavanaugh over his perjury issues. No one allowed to sit that vote out. Regardless of his politics, he is morally unfit to be on the federal bench, let alone the supreme court.
or
2) we add two more seats to the supreme court.
