I guess it must be true because she says that she wouldn't remember a party from 40 years ago (I love how it keeps getting earlier and earlier). At some point, I was waiting for her to say something like "I wouldn't remember a party I attended during WWI. lol

Guess she wasn't assaulted in HS.

Here's my hypothesis...

You always remember your "first"...dance, kiss, etc etc etc...(ya know what I mean). I think you remember the when, where, how, clothes, and especially the who. But I'm not so sure that you remember your second (or third or fourth, etc)....

So she remembers it because it was her first time being assaulted (and hopefully the last). He doesn't remember it because it was anything but the first, and only maybe the last, time that he assaulted a woman.

Just my 2 cents.

I hope she can stat strong. From a story in the Mercury News ,it sounds like she's got a great supportive family and circle of friends. I wish her strength.
