Otherwise what we are looking at is an ambush hearing in which a Republican controlled attack is all but guaranteed. In no way will anyone consider the hearings legitimate without the validity of an FBI background investigation.

With a proper background investigation in place truth has a chance of being heard. There is a very specific reason the republicans don’t want the FBI to do a background investigation on this.
