Continue the Investigations of Kavanaugh...

There should be continued independent or congressional (after the Dems regain control)
investigations to determine the validity of Dr. Ford's allegations and others that may arise concerning
the individual. Civil or criminal proceedings could still take place as I understand there
is no statute of limitations on sexual type attacks in Maryland. Also, why not
look into Justice Thomas's past in more detail? Even if these slim buckets can't be
impeached from their offices they should be more thoroughly tainted by their history
of sexual assaults or other white washed crimes...imo

criminally prosecuted when she doesn't know when it happened, where it happened, there is no police report, she told no one contemporaneously, there is no forensic evidence, etc? How could a civil suit proceed under these circumstances?

A criminal prosecution (or even a civil suit) is vastly different than what is happening here.

I really hope that this never becomes a country where someone could land in prison, or sued into poverty, just because someone makes an allegation, with zero evidence.

Your absolutely right that finding enough evidence to charge him is almost impossible, and past that getting a conviction would be even harder.

Imagine if someone who owned a store said “That person stole $2000 of merchandise from me! I don’t know for sure when it was or what they thought was I but I know it’s them”.... do we want a country where you can be drug into court based just on that?

I really believe that women should be believed when they make a claim, and I believe Dr. Ford in this case.

On the other hand, I am the mom of two sons, and I realize how vulnerable young men are in the situation where someone makes an unprovable allegation. There is too much on the line to automatically assume all women tell the truth all the time about sexual assault.

“There is enough evidence to take this to court.”
