The culture of disrespect for women is rampant and epidemic of violence against women is escalating. Just teaching women safety measures is only part of the solution. Men need to step up and start teaching respect for women and girls, and that sexual assault is a serious crime! This isnt a problem that women, alone, can solve.

Too many many have the attitude, "So you want to be equal? Well, take that, BAM!" One particular misogynist, I had the misfortune to be acquainted with, used to say this all the time.
