Its a dead giveaway of what they want to do, and usually indicative of what they have done or plan to do.

Now note how often the r's claim that a democratic administration had the fbi wiretap them for political reasons.

This is the biggest bunch of dirty tricksters I’ve ever seen! There’s as big an infestation of dirty tricksters in the republi-CON party as there are Russians coming out of every faucet in the White House.

attempted rape took place but claiming some other guy (named to take the fall!) did it. He deleted his social media posts soon after, but not before a leaker reported that Kavanaugh had discussed pursuing this strategy with others.

Btw, I wondered who the targeted victim was. He's a private citizen, a middle school teacher, so a person of little power, whose name and picture were actually posted by Whelan. Turns out Blasey-Ford had known him, had even visited him in a hospital, and there was no chance she could mistake the two.

Whelan's job includes working on judicial nominations, and he's also a close friend of Kavanaugh's.

into judicial positions. Regarding his brief, deleted campaign to smear a private citizen with an admitted rape attempt:

So NOT some renegade low-level staffer but a high-level operative. The victim he chose because of his general physical similarity to Kavanaugh was actually one of the alumni who signed the statement attesting to Kavanaugh's good character.

Among the leaks is that a top Republican senator was at least circumstantially involved, don't remember the name, perhaps Hatch, or another of similar stature.
