Communist

I spend a fair amount of time on Twitter and venture off onto right wingers feeds just to see what they are talking about and retweeting.

I continue to find it disturbing that they stil fall back on those ridiculous tropes of “communist” and “socialist” and even “Nazi” and use them interchangeably, sometimes in the same paragraph. Sometimes it is hard to ignore the possibility that it is used in place of other words. Yes, those words.

The vitriol and hate they tie to those words is unmistakable.

I even read a tweet from one that said “they feared the FBI Democrat communists more that Russian agents.” Just not sure what to say to that. Lol.

Just an observation that while these people are uneducated and ridiculous, these are the type of people we should worry the most about harming others and themselves.

1. It goes to show you how easily manipulated they were/are.

I have a cousin who blurts "communist socialist" to absolutely everything regarding democrats, Mueller, FBI, CIA, NSA, anyone connected to investigating trump or people debunking her bullshit. No exaggeration, she says it at least 30 times a day on her FB page.

2. been there, doing that....

The latest is the mic drop by President Obama about being more flexible after the election. Whatever that means. When I ask how Pres Obama had been more flexible, the silence is deafening. When I tell them that Vladmir Putin has made many secret deals with trump, they say it's better to have the Russians as our friends.

When I point out the hypocrisy of it, the interwebs go silent.

Face it, cognitive thought and analytics are not their strong suit but they do like some blonds on faux snooze.
