Anything less than that, then it's a fake.

(40,220 posts)I think we need Carnac The Magnificent to divine for us all the things Kavanaugh did during the summers in High School that he didn't write down on a calendar.

(11,612 posts)I don't know too many people that mark wild drinking parties on calendars--particularly when in high school. Dances, sponsored events--okay, but not drinking parties.
So not having a wild party marked on a calendar means it didn't happen? Sure.
I certainly didn't record any of the ones I went to and there were lots. In fact, some parties we learned about while at other parties and just went to check them out. I grew up in a good neighborhood, too. Professional parents and wild kids.

(36,463 posts)I always understood they were more a scorecard, with stats that could be traded, rather than a calendar. Perhaps, if Kavanaugh maintained one of these book, there's no entry because, well, to put it crudely, he didn't score....

He might have kept it as a trophy from his glory days.
Let's face it...the calendar doesn't prove anything.

Does he think the absence of such an entry will convince us that none of it happened?

(33,956 posts)I do not recall anyone keeping calendars.
I know people live and die by their Outlook calendars now....but back then, it simply wasn't a thing and especially not for a teenager.

(99,711 posts)It's not like Kavanaugh is going to put in his calendar/diary that he met a girl at a party, took her to a room, pinned her down, tried to remove her clothes, and put his hand over mouth to prevent her from screaming for help.
