Ok. After reading the latest posts about immature Yale "boys"...

I am grossed out and glad I never went to Yale. Or Harvard. The grossness of these guys is unbelievable. The so called elite are pathetic. Sick.

Glad I'm a Tiger...Geaux LSU! Much more class down here!

Its gross behavior regardless of where it happens. That frat boy debaucherie happens everywhere, not just in the ivy league. Its baked into the Greek system.

largely the children of the elite.

They see in their lives that no one of their social class pays for any of their transgressions, they are untouchable as long as they don't do harm to other wealthy white men. So, they do whatever comes into their heads, because they live without fear or even understanding of consequences.

I spent a lot of nights at the frats at Carnegie-Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh in the early '80's. I went to an all-women's college up the road, and we used to go to the CMU frats every weekend. They liked us because CMU at that time was about 75% men, and the women were mostly in the Fine Arts department. There were various frats, but I spent most of my time at SAE, because they weren't the "animal house". That was the TKEs. But still, I remember a lot of bullshit, including one time the guys all decided to throw their (very expensive) computers out of the top floor window. WTF?

Every school has elite and non-elite rapists and sexual abusers, and LSU has that and also a large Greek system.
