The same Senate committee handling Kavanaugh hearings is who handles DOJ nominees

Trump's eggs really are all in Grassley's basket -- which only makes that goddamned corn goblin that much more loathesome for the consequences of his corruption and misdeeds.

I do wonder, though, if Grassley is pleased or pissed at the Rosenstein firing and specifically the timing of it. I could see it both ways.

We don't know if Rosenstein resigned or was fired. The media is all over the place on this. Trust Buster Sep 2018 #1

How is it that Kavanaugh had SIX different FBI background checks but it took reporters to find the accusers? Note that all the accusers had to be outed before we knew their names. No one wants to face the inevitable crap they always have to face when the come forward (voluntarily or not). Until we make it safe for victims to come forward, "the system" just just keep on making more victims.

I also wonder how many other graduates of Georgetown and/or Yale Law School WHO ARE CURRENTLY SITTING JUDGES (or Justices) were also involved in such "unwholesome activities".
