Should Michael Schmidt have held that story?

Wouldn't you, as a journalist, wonder why that info came to you? He had to know what this would do to the investigation. Are we supposed to believe that he has so much integrity he had to report it because the American people had a right to know?

I don't buy it. The NYT should have been smarter to realize what this info was intended to do.

I am so pissed off. I'm all for legitimate reporting but the NYT just handed our democracy over to a mad man and his band of thieves.

corroboration form McCabe and an opportunity to comment from Rosenstein. That is what good reporters do.

I don't know if he did either.

Amy Suskind tweet.....

The NYT can take credit for the stories that 1) opened the Email-gate non-story that undid Hillary, 2) the Oct 31, 2016 article saying the FBI sees no clear link from Trump campaign to Russia, and now 3) the firing of Rosenstein who oversees the Mueller probe.

Could it be that the NYT is sympathetic to the Republican party and to that extent, Trump?

Seems they are working to benefit the republican's sneaky, sleazy plans for big issues - helping undermine elections, now aiding in shutting down the Mueller investigation.
