Our saving grace...Rich White Conservatives are GREEDY!
I know that we are nowhere out of the woods on Kavanaugh or with anything this administration plans to do but I have said before and will continue to say, "The one thing you can always count on is that Republicans will over reach".
The horrifying thing is that we all have to go along for the ride and many of our most vulnerable people end up getting hurt.
Right White Conservative men are greedy though. They think that they can push things to get what they want without consequence, until it bites them on the ass.
Ultimately, the Kochs, the Mercers, and other wealthy people that are trying to advance their agenda, will back off a bit and change tactics they will sit back and lick their wounds, with their wealth very much intact and have to figure out another way to keep the majority of the benefits of society headed their way.
What I hope however, is that their stupid little underlings in the Republican and Libertarian movements are thoroughly destroyed in the process and we can have some regrowth of the middle class, relief for the working class and poor people like during the New Deal and post war recovery, with obvious improvements in the way we deal with racial inequality and women's rights.
