Or I change channels.

This was some MASSIVELY BIG ad buy.

Boy oh boy - repeat repeat repeat, 'eh? Isn't that the name of the game?

Just like Kavanaugh himself last night in that Pox Noise interview - repeat repeat repeat - even when you start sounding like a freakin' robot. You supposedly went to college, dude. Didn't you have enough English classes to know enough words with which to switch up the narrative just a little bit? So you wouldn't sound like the Chatty Cathy doll I used to play with as a little girl? Just pull her string and she talks! Says the same 11 pre-recorded phrases over and over and over. And over and over and over...

without her consent (commercial gain is interpreted very broadly).

So it would intend on what the contract says about the rights she granted to them to use her persona. Not eveyone thinks to formally obtain the consent of people whose images they are using.

(The above is based on general principles that apply to use of persona - image, voice, name, etc.; the laws vary somewhat from state to state.)

Apparently, they took their ads off the website, according to this article. I love that they look like idiots. This article isn't clear on what Garry's stance is at this time.

And then, when reached for comment about Deborah Ramirez' story, Garry was one of the people who signed a statement saying, "We can say with confidence that if the incident Debbie alleges ever occurred, we would have seen or heard about it—and we did not. The behavior she describes would be completely out of character for Brett."

Today, Garry withdrew her signature from that statement which originated with Kavanaugh's lawyers. “I never saw or heard anything like this,” Garry told The New Yorker. “But I cannot dispute Ramirez’s allegations, as I was not present.”

Well now, this is quite the walkback from the original statement as drafted by Kavanaugh's team, isn't it?

Even more interesting than that, it appears that Garry may also be distancing herself from the Judicial Crisis Network ads, too. The page announcing the ad blitz is a "Not Found" page, as is the page with their videos.

At this point, they look like fools. Love it.

I couldn't take it anymore. The witch that runs it loves Justice Thomas.

"The Judicial Crisis Network is an American conservative political campaign organization based in the United States. As of 2014 it was run by Carrie Severino, a former law clerk for supreme court justice Clarence Thomas. The organization describes itself as "dedicated to strengthening liberty and justice in America."

She should go on the interview circuit. She should present herself to the news media. Be interviewed. Talk to reporters. Go on camera. So then the impression is left - anytime that commercial runs - that the commercial is at least a little bit suspect.

Just like that CNN poll of "women voters" - which had strategically selected republi-CON operatives blathering about their support of trump. They were POLITICAL INSIDERS. POSING as random "women voters."

GUYS - WE ALL HAVE TO REMEMBER THIS STUFF! ANYTHING portrayed by that side of the aisle is ONLY portrayed to further an ulterior motive, a political agenda. It should automatically be suspect. START THINKING DEVIOUSLY. Start thinking, strategically, about how one could screw over somebody else, manipulate public opinion. PERCEPTION MANAGMENT. That's ALL it is, with this bunch. They don't do ANYTHING with sincerity. It's ALWAYS a manipulation. It's ALWAYS calculated.

UNDERSTAND THE MIND OF THE ENEMY.

Some entities are good about getting the requisite consents - others aren't If this is a sloppy one she might have the right to stop them. It all depends on what the contract says.

Some are saying that she still supports Kavanaugh.
She wrote a letter to the New Yorker to take her name off the pro-Kavanaugh letter since she wasn’t there for the event with Ramirez. But she still supports the Kav.

Maybe she heard the rumors of his sexual assaults back in the day, but dismissed them as gossip or shrugged it off as "boys will be boys". Maybe she suspected that he had a dark past when she agree to do that ad, but since she didn't actually know what he'd done to other young women, she said nice things about him, her long time friend.

But then the news broke and the stories of perversion were everywhere, and first there's one woman accusing Kavanaugh of trying to rape her, then another woman comes forward, and yet a third, and then suddenly she realizes that all those rumors were actually true.
