Do you think this indicates Senator Collins might be considering a no vote, depending on what comes out in the testimony? Or do you think it is just rhetoric and she has already decided to vote yes no matter what comes out about BK?

If she were not, they would have ignored Ford and voted already.

She'll pretend to be concerned, but will vote with the GOP caucus. The ACA vote was predetermined. The GOOPers didn't really want it to go away. It would have been a disaster for them, so they let her vote against it, along with McCain.

they've been getting approved at an unprecedented rate. Even if Trump is removed from office in a year or so, his mark will stain the judiciary for decades.

Collins can make the claim she thinks the victims should be heard knowing full well McConnell/Grassley are going to attack the women & force the vote anyway regardless of what they hear. She looks like she is being fair when she is only dressing herself up in the appearance of fairness and concern.

Collins will vote to confirm stating nothing she heard leads her to think Kavanaugh isn't qualified for the job.

I would be beyond shocked out of my drawers if Collins votes against Kavanaugh. I would have to start a blog and call it - Cracked and Shocked: A liberal in search of her bloomers.

She also said she was sure Kavanaugh wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade, so ease up on the optimism that she's gonna vote against him, or prepare to be disappointed.
