as long as he's talking about himself and his "accomplishments". Once he's past that, he begins to bore even himself and his tone changes into his morbid drone, on and on. Every speech is the same, with the same ol' hackneyed phrases that we all now have memorized as well as he does.

Yes, the world is laughing at us...BECAUSE of him.
