Here is my theory on Kav and his high school / college days

Like a lot of kids who are socially maladjusted, Kav wanted to fit in with the "cool crowd". And for him, that meant the jocks (football players, etc). But if you look at him, I don't think he ever was part of the in crowd... too doughy, too smart, too shy.

So... to fit in he was what was known (at least in the midwest) as a roper... or gopher. A hanger on that got stuff for the jocks. Booze, drugs... and girls. He would go to parties and spot the girl to get drunk, for everyone (but him) to take a turn in the upstairs bedroom... and he played the part to perfection. Even on occasion trying to "get his turn" but never completing (that we know of) the deed.

Does that make him a rapist? Does in my book... not just sexual assault, but part of a gang rape. Just like the getaway driver at a bank heist is guilty of robbing the bank... or the person in the car when the main perp goes into the 7-11 and kills the clerk is also guilty of murder.

And he knows it. That's why his almost "clinton-esqe" answers about "I didn't have sexual intercourse" in high school... he doesn't say "I never had sex in high school" but refers to specific sexual act, intercourse. Which might technically be true, but like Clinton, falls way short of being "true" (sticking your dick in a drunk girls face is asking for a BJ, fortunately for Ms. Ramirez, even drunk she had more respect for herself than to just "take it".

Anyway, he has lied repeatably... about his partying days, about underage drinking... and, I'm sure, about sexually assaulting possibly a number of women... maybe many more than have come forward at this point (as is typical with this as pointed out painfully with the #metoo movement, it is almost never just one).

That doesn't match with what you describe. I think it is more likely that he is just lying now. I also think he could have been exaggerating (lying) to his freshman roommate about his high school exploits.
