And the Republican prosecutor missed why that is so. It is the lack of an escape route in the plane rather than the actual of act of flying that triggers the fear. This was an odd choice to attack her credibility and attacking her credibility is the sole purpose of every question. There has been zero effort at fact finding. What a sham.

I was in an accident as a teenager and suffered a mild concussion, but more than 50 years later I still remember the details of that accident. And for many, many years after I would occasionally wake in the middle of the night reliving part of the accident. I was not even seriously hurt—I can not imagine Dr. Ford’s anxiety and sense of violation.

I just remembered that I had speared my little left toe when I was about 5 years old with a pitchfork digging for potatoes. Then I looked at my right ring finger with the memory of slice the side with my grandpa's razor and it bled profusely. This all happened about 60 years ago.

"Half of America is crying."

How could you NOT be moved by hearing her testimony, hearing her recollections, hearing her VOICE? How could you possibly question her credibility, call her a liar, and worse? And automatically judge for the male in this, instead of her. I guess you'd have to ask a Republi-CON man about that.

Parents - protect your under-age daughters from assholes like Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge!

Don't let your daughters go to unsupervised parties where teenagers will surely be drinking and using drugs.
Even when your daughters say "everyone does it" and "it's totally safe." They don't and it isn't.
More than ever, if something happens it's the girl's fault. She'll never live it down either.
Maybe daughters don't realize it, but their parents certainly do.

One of the bosses at work sent out an email this morning noting that nearly 20% of women may have experienced rape, and more have experienced sexual assault. The message was to be kind to coworkers as they may be reliving their trauma today.

My experience, though, was LIGHTYEARS less than that of a rape victim or victim of attempted rape. I'm fortunate in that this comparatively minimal level of continuing trauma is as bad as it got - in my own life.

Avenatti's highly credible client with all those high-level security clearances.

Shows what a kangaroo court this is. I hope all the Dems will grill Kavenaugh about those other allegations of him lining up to gang-rape incapacitated women and being present during the rape of Avenatti's client. And why he lied about his underage drinking and sexual escapades that he bragged about in his own yearbook.

She had reasonable fear of the worst things happening to her - rape, death. That trauma affects memory of nonrelevant details, affects shaping of the brain's function, especially at an early age. Her personality type affects her trauma as well, and how it continues to affect her anxiety, trust issues, etc.

This assault deeply affected her life, her relationships.
