The Repugs have the numbers.

That's why I refused to allow myself to become emotionally invested in the outcome. That doesn't mean I'm not sad.

Conservatism is racism and sexism plus a refusal to take care of the common needs. The midterms are coming . That's mu focus and it should be yours too. Let's vote them out.

I’ve expected this all along... but have you seen some report that Collins/Flake are ready to vote?

That Flake all but telegraphed he’s a definite yes with his questioning of Kavanaugh.

I only heard 20 min of her testimony, but I thought she did very well. The posts I saw here during the day implied that she knocked it out of the park and that he was quite weak... but I see that the betting markets swung heavily toward him over the course of his testimony. PredictIt went from essentially 50/50 (and better than that during her testimony) to 3-1 odds in his favor.

Flake did a mea culpa just now during the hearing. Collins is "very concerned". Hopeless.

all of this was for nothing. They will give lip service to believing her but then vote him through. How can you vote him through and claim to believe her? It hurts.
