When men "cry" like Kavanaugh, it is supposedly a sign of their passion and righteousness. With women it is weakness. Conservative men in particular, but sadly, men in general have a great deal of difficulty with the range of human emotion.
I tend to tear up during movies with strong emotional themes, but I find myself feeling slightly embarrassed about it, then I get mad at myself for being embarrassed. I'm a mess.
The reality though, is that Trump and most Republican men are so emotionally stunted that they actually think that Kavanaugh's and Graham's displays were a good thing.
