'Unions Are Lying, Cheating Rats': Leaked Video Reveals Amazon's Belligerent Anti-Worker Tactics

From the article:

"Jeff Bezos is a villain, plain and simple. His insane fortune is the grotesque manifestation of workplace oppression."
As Amazon works to combat its public image as a starvation-wage employer by doling out mere pennies in pay hikes and deploying an army of workers to sing the company's praises on Twitter, a video leaked on Wednesday revealed that the trillion-dollar company is continuing to work feverishly behind the scenes to crush any attempts by workers to unionize and bargain collectively for better wages and working conditions.

Amazon is a plantation style workplace, updated for the 21st century. Run by another greedy capitalist.

Things are working out making purchases locally and directly mail ordering from small businesses.

I was foolish to worry about it not working out. It may not work for everyone. But it's been a smooth transition for us back to how we used to shop for so many things.

Then I realized it was only the convenience of a one stop shop that held us. Everything is available directly from small shops online or locally.

We helped Amazon to become the terrible giant it is today. But no more.

I only download free books for my old kindle, lol. And I'm borrowing more and more from the library that offers tons of e-books. It's working out very well.

And as you say, one can shop locally, where the money stays local, or online, using small independent stores.

We like the videos, too. There's so much out there.

Some people rely on Amazon's convenience. Health issues, living in rural areas and busy schedules can dictate a lot of shopping habits. But we're doing fine so far living in this metro area.
