I know it's not the point of this OP but using his age as an excuse neglects and diminishes the accusations and the victims. It needs to be repeated that this isn't a trial. It's about whether we want to give this guy a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court and what message this sends to all victims but especially his.

point. The terminology, description used as to diminish whether he should be accountable for his actions. Im sure he had a long history as a juvenile jailable offense in which his RICH/lawyer parents had expunged and sealed. High school Fact in (CT) when young white boys got into trouble the police would take them home because the officers knew their parents. black/brown boys went to juvenile jail/court with a police file created to follower them the rest of their lives. FBI investigated KAV 3times? they only went back as far as 18 years old and up. The word 'white privilege' wasn't explained back then.

The cops knew that the parents of white "juvenile delinquents" (remember?) contributed to the Mayor's campaign, and sometimes the parents were at the same country club as the police chief. It was all very cozy.

school yard ass kicking. Strictly for medicinal purposes. An ass kicking can sometimes reboot someones moral compass. Results vary.

This is an answer to those crazy TrumpHumpers who wore the shirt that says "I'd rather be a Russian than a Democrat." That pic has been posted on DU and on Twitter threads several times.

What was he doing supplying other kids with alcohol and possibly illegal drugs (boofing) – and who was supplying him???? Since the drinking age in Maryland then was 21, he would have had to have had a fake ID to buy the alcohol legally. I can't imagine his parents did not know he was coming home smashed night after night, and that they never smelled alcohol on his breath. And if so, why were they continuing to give him the keys to the car? I think there's a heckuva lot more to this story than what we know now, including the 'public service' activities he claims (but never identifies) to have done.

I feel such a mixture of sadness and rage looking at that. Those poor kids were treated so unfairly, and now that privileged, rich, white frat boy, who has never had to answer to anyone in his entire life, is about to get another pass just because he is white, male and rich. It makes me sick.

I’d love to see the day when our fake “aristocracy” of prep-school entitled assholes and Bro-culture “misbehavior” are utterly destroyed.

I won’t hold my breath, though.
