FBI has no subpoena power in background check (per former FBI agent on cable news).

If, for example, Mark Judge changes his mind and refuses to talk with the FBI:

(1) can the Judiciary Committee (Grassley or majority or full committee?) issue subpoena?

(2) if so, what are the chances they would?

I'm betting they'll go after the money at least in a cursory way. $200,000 debt just gone is unusual.
