STORMY DANIELS STRIP CLUB ARREST TRIGGERS FBI CORRUPTION PROBE

The FBI is now involved in investigating possible police corruption in connection with Stormy Daniel's arrest at a Columbus, Ohio strip club.

As we reported, Stormy was arrested in July while she was performing at Sirens strip club after several patrons made physical contact with her. It appeared the vice cops were lying in wait for Stormy.

Fact is ... there was no basis to arrest Stormy because the law under which she was arrested did NOT apply to her since she was not a regular performer at the club. The police chief apologized and launched an internal affairs investigation.

What we're told ... some of the officers were pro-Trump and it looked like a personal vendetta.

(as there are doctors, nurses, and teachers) so that bad cops can't just move down the road and misuse authority elsewhere.

...another problem is that ex-military often return to go into police forces. Without adequate retraining, they
see the community members whom they should protect and serve as the enemy--especially if they do not live in the community they are policing.

From someone in my unit was applying for a job in a NC police department and he was like the last person you'd want. One time he was driving in a parking lot slammed the brakes and yelled out "goddamn n motherfuckers" I reported it but he was already in trouble.

at least not of ones who simply get fired. I think we might have one of those who lose licences for ethical reasons but I am not even sure of that.

Local NPR Station
"Chief Kim Jacobs has requested the help of the FBI in investigating Columbus Police’s vice unit.

The division paused the majority of Vice Unit cases earlier this month after two high-profile incidents: the arrest of porn star Stormy Daniels, which Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein declined to prosecute, and the fatal shooting of a woman charged with prostitution.

"Recent high profile incidents have brought forward a variety of allegations against the Vice Section via social media postings and other sources," said a press release Thursday.

A task force including the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the state auditor was commissioned to look into the Vice Unit’s conduct. They’ll now have assistance from the FBI’s Public Corruption Task Force, now that "evidence has developed in the investigations," according to the release."

From Dispatch.com. 7/28/18, local paper
"

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The former public information officer for the Columbus police department has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of sending and receiving child pornography.

Fifty-one-year-old Dean Worthington was arraigned Friday in Columbus where a judge set bond at $35,000. The judge said that if Worthington makes bail, he must remain under house arrest until trial, can't have internet access and can't be in the presence of minors, including his teenage daughter, without another adult present.

Worthington's attorney sought to have him released on a recognizance bond.

Franklin County prosecutors say an examination of Worthington's cellphone found around 40 pornographic images of children. A task force began investigating Worthington in May after the social media site Tumbler reported that a photo of a boy had been uploaded to the site."

The hometown paper entitled Ohio Police Officer pleads not guilty to child porn.
