Q: If Judge Kavanaugh is shown to have lied to the Committee, nomination's over? FLAKE: Oh yes. (Original Post) kpete Sep 2018 OP
Maybe, we'll have to fight about what's a significant lie and a little "white" lie. Hoyt Sep 2018 #1

He is banking that no new evidence is uncovered during these four witness interviews they are doing. As long as nothing concrete comes up he'll say there was no corroborating evidence.

And I’m surprised at how many people are expecting something concrete out of some witness interviews regarding incidents from decades ago. Even if someone said they saw it happen (which would be shocking if true, considering they then apparently didn’t care enough to defend the assaulted at the time), that’s not proof. From a legal standpoint it’s just a slightly less balanced “he said, she said.”

Holding a Republican to his word is like trying hold an eel after greasing your hands with oil. of course, but this one needs to be preserved and thrown in Flake's face on an hourly basis, because from here on in, Flake will be showered with Kavanawful's lies before the committee. He does NOT get to pass them off as "minor inconsistencies."

There is also Kavanaugh's lying under oath about seeing Demo0cratic emails stolen from the congressional system when he was a Bush staffer.

That dropped off he radar because the Republicans are just fine with it, but it bears on his veracity right now.
