I dont understand..I work in a skilled profession and Im

required to take a drug test at strict interrvals. I also know that in many other professions drug screening is required before employment (Education field)

So why in the hell isn't an applicant for the SCOTUS required to submit to drug screening.?

Or even a seat in Congress.

so the rules don't apply. I also had to take a drug/alcohol pre-employment test at my old job and we were subject to random testing (aviation). But members of the SCOTUS apparently don't have to be sober when at their jobs. I am wondering whether the expression "sober as a judge" makes a whole lot of sense any more.

The criteria for a seat in Congress are specified in the Constitution. Nothing more can be added without an amendment.

But that would be such a bug fight, we are going to keep chugging along with this one until it breaks completely.

Anyone running for office should be required to take a drug test and especially a personalty disorder test. drumpf and Kavanaugh would have failed miserably.

Once, when I was in a job interview, I was told that there would be drug testing. I said, “Great, which ones”. They apparently found a more qualified person.

a secure, independent means, not tied to the president's office, Congress, or the Supreme Court. Totally independent. Why not? Are they above the law? NO. No one in this country is.
