2. I do too, but...

I wish he'd moderate just a bit on his obvious disdain for Avenatti. I really don't care whether or not he likes him, but it sometimes seems obsessive.

3. As a lawyer, I am not a big fan of Avenatti

The search warrant for Cohen was in the works and going through DOJ channels before Avenatti surfaced (getting a warrant to search a lawyer's office is a major deal under DOJ rules). Avenatti is an effective plaintiffs' attorney and so can sell his claims. I am not a fan of Avenatti but admire the skill that he has used to push his claims.

I suspect that the Cohen/trump case will likely be dismissed soon and Avenatti will not be deposing trump.

4. I don't have strong opinions on him, but as I say, I get really tired of the constant harping

against him as HW does... One can certainly express disagreement with him (as you just did) without it becoming obsessive ... It has become nearly PAVLOVIAN with our Hoarse Whisperer...

7. I have worked with a number of plaintiff attorneys and I have originated some cases

I have good friends who are plaintiff lawyers but understand that they can be very aggressive. I have originated and done most of the work on a couple of fun contingent fee cases with plaintiff attorneys and they have a different way of looking at issues compared to transactional attorneys
