If that’s true, Collins and Murkowski voting “no”—-still no sure thing even now—pretty much guarantees a “no” from Manchin. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

And why that population is the way it is but surely a real dem who actually votes for dems could also get elected. It is maddening to always hear his name announced as a flip vote. He needs to register as an independent and stop being financed by the dem party.

And I hope this post is not against the rules. Just saying how I feel.

Dems tolerate him because he's supposed to be our +1 vote on the vitally important calls. If he starts doing that job for the Republicans instead, then we might as well just have a Republican in his seat.
