To the entire speech, it makes me wonder what have we become in this country.

There has been some talk about Roberts concern for the reputation and standing of the court, that he may not go along with every 5 to 4 decision that the right wingers hope to win. This is what they said when he saved Obamacare by writing a narrow decision with the left. But I have my doubts. I read something that Roberts had, in his first few years on the court, sided with the larger, more powerful entity every time. Businesses over people, states over businesses, federal government over everyone. This was, if I remember correctly,
in over 200 court decisions. You would think that just one time the smaller plaintiff would be on the right side of the law. Roberts didn't see it that way.

Point by point refutation.

This speech shows why "they" calls us "bleeding heart liberals."

It also demonstrates why Republicans have no basis for comparison: they have no hearts that bleed, just pockets to fill.

How do we get this message to people?

This should be enough to wake up some of those who think they are GOP but are not fully immersed in the Fox cult.

Truth to power.

Senator Whitehouse I am so proud to say is my Senator. He doesn't let anything slide.

Remember those numbers: 73 (5-4) decisions to republicans interest groups, and 91%. You can't dismiss these numbers and facts.

Just listening to those letters made me get emotional.
