How bout a game. Pick the Senate, House, & Governors race you most want to win.

Here’s mine:
House - 22nd District of California (Devin Nunes/treasonous traitor seat).
Senate - A tie between Texas & Tenn (I loathe Ted Cruz and Marsha Blackburn equally)
Governor - A tie between Fla & Ga (2 Black Dems facing two racist vile GOP bigots).

What races will you be watching most closely and cheering for on 11/6?

I'd like to see Heitkamp keep her seat this November, just because the Repugnants want so badly to take it.

In the House, McGrath.

Edit to add:
Would be great to see Abrams become Governor of Georgia.

Carolyn Long
Healthcare. Social Security. Medicare. Jobs. Women's Rights. Education.

Representing Death:
Jaime Beutler Herrera
Kill the Sea Lions! No Toll Roads to Weird Portland! Um what else...Portland is grimy and smells like weed. Fuck them!

The choice between Cake and Death should be easy, but I'm living in a flaming red bubble.

that would be a great moral and symbolic victory for our side! Accompanied by yet another election smackdown for the odious Corey Stewart (he doesn't stand a chance against Tim Kaine, but I'd enjoy seeing the idiot suffer another defeat.)

Outside Virginia: Ted Cruz, Devin Nunes, and the Republican running to replace Flake in AZ - can't remember her name.

because we're in real danger of losing this senate seat as a direct result.

Governor: Stacey Abrams because she's a good liberal Democrat and we live in Georgia. Oh, and of course because she's black and it's way past time for this state to discover its black power.

House: I agree with Andrew Janz, giving Nunes the boot. Nunes's hometown newspaper, the Fresno Bee, just endorsed Assistant DA Janz, I believe their first endorsement ever. A poll in September showed him only 6 points behind in this blood-red district.

Janz "offers the best chance to both lead the district by attending to its issues and then by striving for bipartisanship in Washington, D.C., which is the only answer to the poison of gridlock politics that is stifling debate and action at nearly all levels,..."

The races that impact me directly:

* Gillum

* Nelson

* Donna Shalala over Maria Salazar in my district FL-27

Shalala and Democratic operatives are certainly giving a big effort. I received three different anti-Salazar flyers in one day today. That is a record since I returned to Miami in late 2008.

Janz because Nunes is a traitorous P.O.S. and anyone who carries that much water for Trump should be out on their ass.

Beto because losing a Senate race in TX will cause GOPers nationwide to poop their pants -- no amount of pondering the unlikability of Ted Cruz will relieve them of the anxiety this result would cause, and confusion about how to prevent it from happening to them.

Gillum because FL has the largest population of disenfranchised voters in the nation, and a couple of years of a Dem Gov before the 2020 election might be very, very useful in terms of rectifying that in a way which then helps save the republic.
