'We've never seen anything like this': GOP in panic as Dems spend 'cash by the truckload' on midterm
Republican leaders are in a panic as a surge in support for Democratic Party candidates is threatening the GOP’s grip on Capitol Hill during the 2018 midterm elections, Politico reports.
In the 70 most contested House races, Republican candidates have reserved $60 million in TV ads since the end of July. Meanwhile, Democrats have reserved $109 million in the same races during that period.
