votesaveamerica.com - layman's explanation of ballot initiatives and candidates in your area

I saw this on some voting show right after Bill Maher or Vice News, can't remember which. If you put in your address, you can read about the ballot initiatives and candidates that you will be voting on in less legal jargon that is in the booklets mailed prior to voting.

I perused it a little and hope to spend more time. We have a lot on our ballot this midterm and would like to understand it better. What I really hope for is if there is info on judges. Those are the hardest to vote on because it's so hard to research them and their rulings.

Haven’t watched it yet but thanks for reminder!

This is a good service to understand what’s on the ballot.

Agree about judges as their generally isn’t a lot of info on those races and their rulings. And now we’ll need more spotlights as GOP and McConnell stack the courts.

And we have 17 on our ballot this midterm! I've tried researching them in the past and it takes a long time. 17 will take forever.

People say they go by their blue voting book and if 80% or more recommend retaining, the vote yes. But my understanding those asked to retain are other judges and lawyers. Look how they all rallied behind Kavanaugh and some still do. I want to see how they're ruling on things. And I can find that but it's hard to understand not being a lawyer :sigh:
