Can we kindly please end the useless talk about 2020 and, um, win on Nov. 6th.

Enough of the silly talk about 2020. Let's please, um, uh, concentrate on Nov. 6th. Make sense?

1. DU posts probably don't have any bearing on the upcoming election.

3. Yeah, I think most of us are capable of focusing on both.

Itís possible to plan for short-term and long-term. Scolding people for considering the day we might see Trump out of office and how best to get there? Not all that helpful.

5. Please, 2020 is two years away. An eternity in politics. And we are all allowed an opinion.

So if you want to call it scolding, then fine. Call it scolding. Sometimes that's very needed.

8. In these times, 3 weeks is an eternity.

Who knows what we will be talking about 3 weeks from now?

4. WAITING IS...

HARD!

Seriously, I think people are blowing off steam while waiting, and yes, many of us are doing things to GOTV as well, but frankly, you can't be doing that 24/7.

6. Let's focus on three weeks from now. Talking about 2020 two years out is pointless. Priorities!

7. We can tend to priorities

and still speculate on 2020.

My personal feeling is that it is way too early to be picking candidates, but discussing possibilities isn't off the table.

But, really, the person who we choose may not even be someone we've thought of yet.
