doing at any time to be honest w/ you. I think he's in it to scam his donors and won't run in 2020. Because he'll pocket the campaign money and run. Without the work involved in getting it (the campaigning, etc.). A big scam.

If they hemorrhage viewers every time the Orange Gorilla cavorts at one of his rallies, that's going to affect their bottom line. They know that even their usual viewers would rather watch reruns of I Dream of Jeannie than endure that garbage.

Trump is probably done only for the fact he has managed to accomplish most of the dirty, evil goals of his backers.

He's packed the courts with their tools like Kavanaugh. They really don't need him anymore.

These rallies are getting old. I think it’s a mistake by Trump to keep holding them every week. They’re losing their effectiveness for him. When 2020 rolls around they’ll be old news.

He’s doing then for his ego, nothing more. They make him feel good, that’s it.

locals are actually showing up. It's Missoula fer crissakes. About the most liberal city in the state. The NPR station interviewed the mayor and he's not thrilled about the whole thing because it costs a lot in overtime for emergency workers and all that. The rally is at the airport so there won't be a costly motorcade through the city. And then Jr is going to careen about the state for an unknown length of time on a bus with his new girlfriend. Wonder how much that's gonna cost us all.

I don't know how many are all that thrilled about his continuous visits, and I am pretty sure Tester will win, he's been good for vets and others, most know that Rosendale is a crook. And he's not from Montana, automatic negative points there.

Quote from Sen. Harris email today:

I am going to get straight to the point — I need your help to support Jon Tester’s re-election campaign because Trump has made him his number one target in the midterm elections.

This won’t be easy. Every public poll shows Jon’s re-election is within the margin of error and the Cook Political Report rated this race as a “toss-up” just a few days ago. This race is going to be close.

Despite being in one of the closest races in the country, Jon Tester has stood with us when it matters most — including just a few weeks ago when he voted no on Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

But that’s why Trump keeps going after him — and this evening, Trump is holding a huge rally in Montana specifically to attack Jon.

November 6th is gonna be a nail-biter......

I will add that the anti-dump protest kicked some ass. Peaceful, happy, enthusiastic and positive. Gawd it felt good to be with like minded folks. The giant LIAR sign on MT Jumbo and the IMPEACH sign on MT Sentinel didn’t hurt either. AF1 had to fly right over them to get into the valley. It was friggin awesome.

My old country senses are telling me some public perception is starting to turn around. Maybe they're actually seeing through some of the massive number of lies and deceptions.

But, we're not going to counter some 40 years of right-wing brainwashing overnight and I fear the public may have to suffer much more pain to return us to our collective good senses. During the few years I have left, I would love to see a turnaround in the attitude of many of our churches and maybe a few dozen billionaires realize the destruction they have wrought. We have a long road ahead of us.

See, I told you I'm a dreamer! Have a wonderful Friday.......

If Trump were merely a terribly manipulative sociopath (which he is), he might to better at keeping this train rolling, and keeping the audience titillated.

Unfortunately for his ego and his TV ratings, he is an ignorant, unimaginative, repetitive bore.
