They were running banners at the bottom of the screen saying "Blue State Voter: Dems inept but hearts in the right place" and "Blue State Voter: Dems poor on messaging".
We don't need this shit! Especially not right now! How about running banners at the bottom of the screen saying "Trump aided and abetted first degree murder"? Huh? Why is it not possible to for them to tell the truth? Why do they resort to this kind of bullshittery to make us look bad right before an election?
I'm pissed at CNN!

(25,111 posts)conservatives as well as the other media outlets. They do this all the time. The Democratic Party does not have a message bullshit. They never tell the truth about when GOPs are the majority they screw the economy big time and every time, the Democratic Party comes in to clean it up, and put America back on track.
The Democratic Party always work for the betterment of the USA citizens, and the GOPs are fucking greedy and fucks the USA.

(251 posts)I stopped watching them a few days ago. I had two TV's that were on CNN as much as 16 hours every day since 2016. I'll be damn if I'm gonna patronize them when they're sounding more and more like Fux News!!!

(81,570 posts)Jeff Zuckers singular role in promoting Donald Trumps rise
By Margaret Sullivan
October 2, 2016
Although there are many options, you could do worse than to take a hard look at Jeff Zucker, president of CNN Worldwide.
It was Zucker, after all, who as the new head of NBC Entertainment gave Trump his start in reality TV with The Apprentice and then milked the real estate developers uncanny knack for success for all it was worth in ratings and profits.
The show was built as a virtually nonstop advertisement for the Trump empire and lifestyle, according to the book Trump Revealed, by Washington Post journalists Marc Fisher and Michael Kranish.
And it succeeded wildly boosting the networks ratings, as well as Zuckers meteoric career. In turn, under Zucker, the show gave rise to Celebrity Apprentice, another Trump extravaganza. And, in turn, Zucker became the head of NBC overall.

(16,672 posts)The Sunday morning political shows are usually full of right wing pigs and Bernie in there for 'balance'... No comment on BS other than that.

(17,984 posts)Hey, CNN, if you want Dems to have better messaging, focus on their message once in awhile and give the orange shitstain a break in coverage! But alas, that takes reasoning skills that seem well beyond those of the CNN talking heads.
nini
(16,672 posts)We simply do not get the coverage. It's a joke.

(21,110 posts)well, more than that, but one is of course, fauxsnooze and the other is CNN. They are never(seldom) honest and still think they can keep that right wing audience watching by running shit like this.
ProudLib72
(17,984 posts)Think about it. The Rump rails against CNN, so we want to find out what they are saying that's so damaging. We turn to CNN and read that Dems are pathetic and have no message. That turns us off of the party. It's impossible to gauge, but I would love to see some statistics on how many people were turned off of the Dem party merely by watching "liberal media" like CNN.
At the very least, it turns us into apathetic voters!

most of them had problems with trump but they weren't exactly liberal. they were all from minnesota and the host asked them if they would vote for keith ellison(because of the accusations) and i think they said no although one said it had to do with him being too liberal.
didn't we get fucking facts on keith ellison that he was the VICTIM of abuse ? the host said nothing about that.
so instead of reporting these actual details about elections and candidates running for office they do lazy ass shit like those panels of people and report on what they have to say.
treestar
(82,383 posts)any such accusations.
ProudLib72
(17,984 posts)So they picked a group of suburban women because the women's movement is set to trounce the hell out of the Rs. These women admit that there is something wrong with Rump, which makes other suburban women who are watching them feel at ease believing the panel speaks for them. Then the panel turns on Ellison, thus casting doubt on the entire DNC and, by extension, the Dem party.

(1,278 posts)- CNN was much more of a news-focused network when Ted Turner was running it. Thought Mr Turner was a liberal, his network didn't really reflect that.
- CNN for all of its 38 year history, has always been the GoTo network when the Sh*t hits the fan worldwide, and has always struggled for ratings otherwise, thus Larry King Live, Sports Tonight originally with Fred Hickman (now in NOLA0 and the late Nick Charles, and other programming decisions too long to go into here.
