What a man is
Donald Trump has it all wrong.
He thinks a "real man" talks tough. Bullies others to get his way. Makes cruel insults to the vulnerable. Uses women to feed his own ego and treats them like second class citizens. Needs to feel important, powerful, and like a king.
To me
A "real man" shows compassion to the downtrodden, the vulnerable, the marginalized.
A "real man" treats women as equals and doesn't feel threatened by a smart woman. He appreciates that women are people and not objects for his own gratification.
A "real man" listens to others and doesn't talk over others.
A "real man" loves children and treats them with kindness. If he has children of his own, he spends time with them being a dad. He doesn't mind taking care of babies.
Likewise,. "real man" treats animals with kindness.
He doesn't feel the need to force his will onto others or control others.
He contributes to his community in a positive way and doesn't go around bragging about it.
If he's married, he shows his kids his love and respect for his partner.
That's what a "real man" is to me.
The exact opposite of Donald Trump.
