If Duncan Hunter gets elected and we get the House back, his impeachment should be first order.

One of the first orders of business. It's likely that Trump would pardon Duncan Hunter like he has all of his cronies, but it should still be done because it sets the tone for the Senate. If they acquit him after he's been jailed (him being convicted is a near certainty) or after pleading guilty due to a Trump pardon, they will look extremely weak.

Same with Chris Collins but I don't know if he'll actually get reelected. Duncan Hunter is probably going to win because his dad (also named Duncan Hunter) is campaigning on his behalf to muddy the waters and make it look like a different guy is running, plus he's running extremely vitriolic anti-Muslim ads.

At the federal level, Article I, Section 2, Clause 5 of the Constitution grants to the House of Representatives "the sole power of impeachment", and Article I, Section 3, Clause 6 grants to the Senate "the sole Power to try all Impeachments". In considering articles of impeachment, the House is obligated to base any charges on the constitutional standards specified in Article II, Section 4: "The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors

A Senator was impeached before but never a House member (yet): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_in_the_United_States#Federal_officials_impeached

Representatives are not “civil officers” of the US. Did you bother to read the example you posted? The Senate did not recognize the House vote to impeach that Senator.

Which we will definitely not have, even if impeachment applied to a House member, which it does not.

so only if the GOP decides he needs to go will he go. They might as pretty much anyone else would win his race for the GOP in a walk and he would be replaced via election not appointment.

conducting business from the big house not the House of Representatives. Not a good look for the GOP - Duncan on Skype in an orange jumpsuit. They'd get rid of him at that point. And Collins might be in the next cell.
