Trump Ready to Blame Ryan and McConnell
October 22, 2018 at 7:04 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Politico: “According to two people familiar with the conversations, Trump is distancing himself from a potential Republican thumping on Election Day. He’s telling confidantes that he doesn’t see the midterms as a referendum on himself, describing his 2020 reelection bid as ‘the real election.’ And he says that he holds House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell responsible for protecting their congressional majorities.”

“According to one person with knowledge of these talks, Trump has said of Ryan and McConnell: ‘These are their elections … and if they screw it up, it’s not my fault.’ Other sources said Trump is sure to lash out at perhaps his favorite bogeyman of all — the media — for allegedly opposing him.”

If Republicans get trounced in the midterms, of course Trump is going to distance himself from those losers. I mean it's that, or he says the elections were rigged and the media was against him.

He has kind of painted himself into a corner. The problem with being a D-List reality star, is your playbag has already been revealed. Everyone knows all about you.

No, not about the blame for the election results, I'll take every opportunity to blame Mitch and Paul for the way this last two years has unfolded.

Those two motherfuckers are just as culpable as he is for our current state of affairs. Especially McConnell. Feel free to continue doing so, you bloated, orange asshole. We're enjoying watching you tear your party to shreds from the inside out.
