(146,317 posts)You might be thinking of a "guaranteed income" concept. Social Security is a retirement version of that, designed to help older people who are no longer working because of their age. It's going to be impossible to shift people's thinking about that.
If you want a guaranteed base income, that's another matter entirely, and would need to be approached on its own merits and have its own name.
In any case, nothing like that is going to be remotely possible until Democrats have control of both houses of Congress and the presidency. Work on what we can do now, not things that are not possible in our current situation.

(146,317 posts)The DNC has nothing to do with that. What you wrote makes no sense at all. The DNC is just the national organization of the Democratic Party. It has absolutely no authority over elections, past or present. It's the national committee of the Democratic Party.
