People like Joe and Mika and all the cable news pundits that keep saying the Democrats have no message, the House isn't going to turn, etc will only hurt turnout.

On the other hand, pushing that the race is close can be beneficial to us, because that gets voters to the polls.

I'm actually glad we aren't getting story after story about how Dems are polling so far ahead, it's going to be a wipeout, because that also causes people to stay home, thinking that Democrats don't really need their vote because they're going to win anyway.

Can't say I ever met anyone who was MORE inclined to vote because everyone said his/her party was SURE to win in a LANDSLIDE or who was too DISCOURAGED to vote because races tightened up and were now NECK AND NECK.
