(1,533 posts)But people in other states seem to think they should have a say in the representatives for the state that has been the most reliably Democratic in Presidential elections for the last 50+ years. One very vocal poster here on DU (who isn't a Minnesotan) even claimed that that "we got exactly who we wanted" when Tina Smith was appointed.
