"One of Shitler's most dishonest weeks in political life . . . completely making stuff up."

Daniel Dale ✔ @ddale8

I've fact-checked every word Trump has uttered for two full years. This is one of his most dishonest weeks in political life. He's lying about so many different things at once, and in big ways -- not exaggerating or stretching, completely making stuff up.

Honestly, if he weren't doing that, I'd wonder if he had the whole country rigged. lindysalsagal Oct 2018 #2

I guess I could see for myself tonight, but I’m curious about whether anybody here has an opinion about what most Americans are seeing about Trump’s problems with telling the truth.

ABC,CBS, NBC nightly news and the feeds they provide to local news have brought his ratings back up. And when they do show any Democratic political figure (ex Biden's appearance last week) they feature her/him saying nothing substantial against the Trump vomit. Even if they don't broadcast his hate/liefests, nightly coverage is definitely Trump, Trump, Trump.

The Democratic Party has failed to organize with energy, time and money a national media watchdog program, monitor and complain to the media each time our candidates and Party are maligned (either by allowing Trump/Repub lies to go uncorrected or by the irrational level of bothsiderism they've sunk to ... eg.looking at you, Nora O'Donnell,Kristin Welker. Kate Snow & Jeff CBS). Why can't the Democrats at least have a machine that demands equal time instead of allowing their coverage to be Trump dominated & lie driven. You can bet your ass the Repugs have had this instrument scrupulously muscling the MSM for at least a decade.

It wouldn't even cost the Democratic Party much to do this. There are plenty of us highly educated & propaganda perceptive retired Boomers who would be happy to volunteer time to watch over our local nightly news. I often contact the local ABC,CBS,NBC news editors in San Diego when I view them they repeating a really outrageous Republican lie. Very often the story is taken off or edited by 11. So it can work.

Democrats I think believe that MSNBC reaches, informs mainstream America. Chris, Rachel & Lawrence are terrific, but they do not inform the majority of voters. That is why the big three networks saturation coverage of Trump the last few months has given him millions upon millions of free advertising & his rating are up 10 points, and so are the uniformly lying Republican candidates.

In early 2016, I turned the tv news on to find out if they'd changed. They hadn't. I stuck it out until the 2016 election. Haven't watched ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS news since. Those networks could disappear and all I'd miss (for a while) is college football.

(or even his inauguration) that have been fact checked and debunked? I would think there has to be one somewhere. That would be a very handy list to have at your fingertips now that the holidays are coming up.

If anyone has one, I would love it if you could post the link here so the rest of us could post it all over social media and send it to everyone we know.
